Reddit comment: Innovative UI for a cleanup app.
Reddit comment: I need clean up my mac. nice.
Reddit feedback: Yes, definitely! Since my folders contain a large number of files, I wouldn't try to go through all the duplicates in one sitting. Personally, I'd prefer to spend around 10 - 15 minutes a day reviewing and cleaning them up. I actually think this could help build a positive habit of keeping my Mac organized. Instead of treating it as a one-time cleanup tool, I could see myself coming back to Putzen regularly and making it part of my daily routine.

Questions, answered.

What does Putzen clean?

Do my files leave my Mac?

Why I built Putzen.

Every month, my Mac fills up with files I don’t need. Many are duplicates. Others sit there untouched for months.

I wanted a quicker, more enjoyable way to go through them. So I built Putzen: a Tinder-style way to review files, one at a time. Keep what matters and send the rest to Trash.

It helped me tackle my own clutter, so I decided to share it. I hope you enjoy using it. If you have feedback, I’d love to hear it.
